We both headed out for rides hitting St. Germain, Eagle River, Sayner and Lake Tomahawk trails. St. Germain groomed, Sayner and Eagle River groomed some. Lake Tomahawk hasn’t been groomed since we got the new snow, Really! Trails today were packed in nice with the cold temps. Some were all white and smooth, others had some small bumps. Some trails are brownish with snirt. We’re going to rate more trails in the good category. There are some fair areas, a few poor areas (mainly areas they can’t groom yet and some lake accesses), and some really good areas. Plowed road trails are icy and some are getting some bare pavement showing.
Lakes are getting drifts and more bare ice is showing through with the windy conditions we’ve had the last couple days.
Get out and ride and enjoy the trails.
