Since our report yesterday morning we’ve picked up another inch and a half of fluffy lake effect snow. It’s looking more like winter but we still need more. Trails are still closed and haven’t heard anything about a possible opening (not sure if we have enough snow to open them).
Ice on area lakes varies quite a bit. Friday we measured 4-6.5 inches on Little St. Germain (in areas where the trail runs). Don’t go on a lake unless you know there’s plenty of ice.
