A little more good news to report. We picked up 2″ of snow yesterday. Unfortunately, it was a drier, fluffy snow. So while it helps, didn’t do much for a base. We now have 4.5″ on the ground and need more. Trails are still closed.
Lake ice varies quite a bit from lake to lake. Don’t go on a lake unless you know there’s plenty of ice.
There’s light snow in the forecast for tonight and Friday. Let’s hope for more because we need it.
