I headed out for a ride hitting some St. Germain, Sayner, Eagle River and Lake Tomahawk trails. The St. Germain and Lake Tomahawk trails I rode had been groomed, were smooth and packed in tight – so much fun to ride. One Sayner trail I rode was groomed while the others weren’t. The Eagle River trails I rode hadn’t been groomed. The ungroomed ones were getting bumpy with some smooth areas. Corners are becoming a concern as quite a few are pushed out making them icy and/or thin on snow – slow down as it’s hard to hold the inside. There are areas brown from snirt – mainly town trails and very heavily travelled corridor trails. Today is suppose to be a warm one with sunshine. The good news is we started out in the mid teens so hopefully not too much melting…

Plowed road trails are starting to wear down. Some have a decent base while others are thin and carbides will scrape.
