It was another warm one yesterday – mid 40s with sunshine. Trails are taking a hit. I headed out for a quick ride to see how trails are holding up hitting some St. Germain, Eagle River and Sayner trails. None of them were groomed. Conditions are all over the place from poor up to very good. Majority will be fair. There’s still good out in the woods meaning good snow cover. Getting to them is becoming the issue. Plowed road trails are showing pavement. More corners are getting thin and some are showing bare ground. Trails that are brown from snirt are also in the poor to fair range.

Today is forecast to be in the low 40’s with sunshine so more melting will happen. I’m thinking about parking the sled until we get more snow…
