A little light snow fell last night but only added up to half an inch. We both headed out for rides in different directions hitting some St. Germain, Sayner, Eagle River and Sugar Camp trails. Eagle River trails had been groomed and some of the Sugar Camp trails I rode had been groomed but others weren’t.  The St. Germain and Sayner trails I rode hadn’t been groomed. The groomed trails were pretty smooth but there were bumpy areas. The ungroomed ones were getting bumpy with some smooth areas. Corners are becoming a concern as quite a few are pushed out making them icy and/or thin on snow – slow down as it’s hard to hold the inside. There are areas brown from snirt – mainly town trails and very heavily travelled corridor trails. That being said, there are still lots of good to excellent trails. Some are just beautiful and a blast to ride.

Plowed road trails are starting to wear down. Some have a decent base while others are thin and carbides will scrape.

Note: In some pictures, the trails will look whiter than it is due to the fresh snow.
