We’re trying to stay optimistic but not easy to do with the current conditions. First the little bit of good news. The lakes are slowly making ice (heard reports of up to 6 inches so far) and we got about an inch and half of snow Sunday night. Now the bad news. There’s only about an inch of snow on the ground, not enough ice on the lakes and the forecast looks terrible (warm and the only precip predicted is rain). So, not looking like the trails will be open for a while. We need cold and snow…
