We’re having some snow showers on and off but only picked up a dusting of snow. I headed out for a ride hitting some St. Germain, Sayner, Conover and Eagle River trails. All the trails I rode had been groomed. Overall I’d say trails were smooth but there are areas groomers weren’t able to completely flatten out the bumps. I hit some beautiful stretches that were all white and flat as a table top. Some trails are looking brownish from snirt. The carbides were scraping at times – mainly on the insides of some corners. Be careful as more corners are getting pushed out making them icy and/or thin on snow. I’m giving trails an overall fair/good rating. You’ll find they range from fair to excellent.

Plowed road trails suck. Carbides scrape constantly on them.

Several inches of heavy wet snow would be wonderful…

Note: Trails in some pics look whiter than they are due to the fresh dusting of snow.
