I headed out for a ride hitting some Sayner, Lake Tomahawk and St. Germain trails. Most had been groomed. They were overall smooth with some bumps here and there. The trails that hadn’t been groomed were bumpier. Most corners had snow on them but some are getting pushed out and icy.  Straight, open stretches were very good. With the warmer temps last night and this morning, trails were softer and some areas are showing some melting. There is some snirt coming through in areas. Trails have a decent base so carbides only scraped in a few places. I’d give an overall rating of fair to good to most trails. As traffic increases this week trails will get bumpier, corners will get pushed out and they will be showing more wear.

Lakes have a lot of slush coming up on them. Some of it is frozen but there are areas that are soft slush. Most lakes are now marked.
