I headed out for a ride hitting some St. Germain, Sugar Camp, Rhinelander and Lake Tomahawk trails. The St. Germain and Sugar Camp trails I rode had been groomed. Lake Tomahawk looked like they groomed a day ago. Rhinelander trails looked like it had been 2-3 days since they were groomed. The groomed trails were mostly smooth but there are areas groomers weren’t able to completely flatten out the bumps. The ungroomed ones ranged from fairly smooth to bumpy. Trails were definitely beat up from the weekend traffic. There are still some areas that are mostly white but more are getting brownish from snirt. Temps were around 20 so it was very soft. Majority of corners were pushed out making them icy and/or thin on snow. The carbides scraped on the insides of a lot of corners. I did hit some beautiful stretches that made me want to turn around and ride again. I’m giving the trails and overall fair rating with majority in that category. There a a few poor spots but also some very good to excellent.

Plowed road trails suck. Carbides scrape constantly on them.

We really could use some snow. 4-6 inches of heavy wet snow would be wonderful…

Sorry, no pics today.
