I headed out for a ride hitting some St. Germain, Sayner and Eagle River trails. The Eagle River trails I rode had been groomed. The St. Germain and Sayner trails I rode hadn’t been groomed. I’m going with an overall good rating but conditions range from fair to excellent. The groomed trails were nice – pretty smooth overall but some areas still had some bumps the groomers are having a tough time flattening out completely. The ungroomed ones ranged from still smooth to getting some bumps. My carbides were scraping in areas – mainly on the insides of some corners. As traffic increases, you will see more corners that are getting pushed out and icy. There are some areas that are brownish with snirt while other areas are all white.

Plowed road trails suck. Carbides scrape constantly on them.

It’s been a while since we got snow. It would be nice to get some to freshen things up and give the groomers more to work with.
