I headed out for a ride this morning as temp was finally only -2 hitting some Sayner and St. Germain trails. All trails I rode had been groomed. They were mostly smooth but there are areas groomers weren’t able to completely flatten out the bumps. Corners are getting thin on snow and icy. Some are down to bare ground while others are holding snow. Carbides were scraping more and trails are getting brown with more snirt. There are still areas that are mostly white and great to ride.  Trails are definitely showing more wear from the traffic and no snow. I’m giving the trails an overall fair rating with majority in that category. There a a few poor spots but also some very good to excellent.

Plowed road trails suck. Carbides scrape constantly on them.

We really could use some snow. 4-6 inches of heavy wet snow would be wonderful…
