We both headed out for rides hitting some Sayner, Lake Tomahawk, Sugar Camp and St. Germain trails. St. Germain and Sayner were groomed last night so were smooth overall with some small bumps but not enough to complain about. Sugar Camp hadn’t groomed and their trails were bumpy and most corners were pushed out and icy. Lake Tomahawk trails had chop but they weren’t too bumpy. Most trails were packed in tight with the colder temps last night. We had 2 days above freezing with sun this past weekend so trails did take a hit. I’m going with an overall fair rating. There are some bad areas but then there’s some trails that are all white and in good condition. Carbides were scraping more today, especially on insides of corners and on plowed road trails. There are more trails that are brown and snirty. You’ll also find some areas that melted with the thaw that have bare spots.

Plowed road trails have been scraped down and a lot of them are plowed to the tree line. The carbides will scrape more and it’s hard to get on the banks. St. Germain had to go out and plow the trail on Birchwood Drive even though we haven’t had snow in several days so you’ll definitely scrape lots on it.

Lakes are pretty good – fairly smooth but there is slush coming up in spots.
