It looks like the end of the season is approaching. Temps warmed into the 30s yesterday and while most trails in the woods didn’t see much melting, the plowed road trails are taking a hit showing quite a bit of bare pavement. The majority of trails still have an ice base, but there isn’t much loose snow/ground up ice on top for cooling and to keep slides lubricated. Several local snowmobile clubs have suspended grooming. While there is still some decent riding in areas, getting to them will mean going over some bad stuff. Temps in the 40s are predicted for the next week so things will continue to deteriorate. Our sleds are parked unless conditions change for the better…
