I headed out for a ride hitting some St. Germain and Sayner trails. There was some freezing drizzle coming down this morning. Trails I rode had all had been groomed. Didn’t scrape carbides much except in some corners and on some plowed road trails. Most trails were nice and white but more areas are getting browner. There are some trails that are all brown with snirt. Trails were smooth, only hit a few small bumps. Some corners were pushed out and icy and some are getting thin on snow. Plowed road trails are starting to get more worn down and your carbides will scrape on them. I’d rate the trails I rode as good with very good areas and some with fair areas.
Lakes are still pretty nasty with slush coming up and not much snow on them. Watch out for the frozen ruts where sleds broke through the slushy areas.
