Trails are still closed and we haven’t heard anything on if and when the trails might open.
Clubs have been out prepping the trails as best they can. We sure could use some moisture in the current snowpack (about 6 inches on the ground) or some more snow. Hopefully we’ll get both.
Lakes have been making ice. Yesterday we measured 5-7 inches of ice which is a lot better than the 1-3 inches we measured December 8th. Right now the lake has a mix of up to 2″ of snow, some bare ice and also some slush areas. Please stay off lakes unless they are marked or you know the ice conditions are safe.
