We both headed out for rides in different directions hitting some St. Germain, Sayner, Arbor Vitae and Lake Tomahawk trails. All trails we rode had been groomed. Most trails were pretty smooth but there were bumpy areas, also several areas with snow chunks from the groomings. After a weekend of heavy traffic trails are showing some wear but still overall in good condition. Corners are becoming a concern as quite a few are pushed out making them icy and/or thin on snow – the carbides did scrape on the insides of a few. There are more areas brown from snirt – mainly town trails and very heavily travelled corridor trails. That being said, there are still lots of good to excellent trails. Some are just beautiful and a blast to ride.

Plowed road trails are starting to wear down. Some have a decent base while others are thin and carbides will scrape.
