I went out riding yesterday hitting some Sayner, Conover, Eagle River and St. Germain trails. I also rode this morning hitting Sayner, Eagle Rivera and St. Germain trails. I was surprised to find most trails were in good to fair condition. The rain we had last Thursday did help to give most trails a decent base. I scraped in a few areas but not a lot. Most trails yesterday were smooth. This morning I found more bumpy areas. Some from sleds but some are areas where there were ruts that we need more snow to fill them in. You will find trails that are pretty thin on snow. Other trails were all white and in good condition. There are some icy areas in corners and on certain trails. Most road trails had an ice base with little or no snow on top. Lakes are mostly bare ice with little snow on them.
Trails are in early season riding condition. You will find nice trails but you will also hit some fair to poor areas.
