I headed out for a ride hitting some St. Germain, Lake Tomahawk, Eagle River and Sayner trails. All trails I rode had been groomed. The St. Germain, Lake Tomahawk and Sayner trails were smooth while the Eagle River ones still had some bumps the groomer wasn’t able to smooth out. Conditions range from excellent down to poor. The warm up did hit some areas with more melting than we’d like to see but a lot of the trails did fine. Areas that saw the most melting are the insides of corners and trails that were brown from snirt that received sun all day. There were some spots with bare ground showing and icy areas. The groomers are doing their best to pull snow back onto these spots but aren’t able to cover them all. However, a lot of trails are still good and I had some good riding.

Plowed road trails are a mixed bag. Some have a decent base while others saw melting creating bare areas. Plan on your carbides doing some scraping, from not much to a lot.
