I headed out for a ride hitting some St. Germain, Lake Tomahawk and Arbor Vitae/Woodruff trails. All the trails I rode had been groomed. Everything was smooth with a few bumps here and there that the groomer wasn’t able to flatten out. What I rode today I’d rate as good to excellent. I wanted to keep riding all day. The carbides did scrape on some corners. Some trails are brown from snirt.
Plowed road trails range from having a decent base with little scraping to areas that are getting thin with the carbides scraping quite a bit.
The lakes I’ve ridden lately are in nice condition. However, be on the lookout for ruts or bumpy areas.
Just a reminder… STOP signs are put up for a reason. Whether you ride fast, slow or in-between, not acknowledging them is just plain stupid and is a good way to get in an accident or get a trail closed.
