I headed out for a ride hitting some Sayner and St. Germain trails. The St. Germain trails I rode had been groomed. Sayner had been groomed within a day. The groomed ones were smooth overall but still had some bumps the groomer didn’t flatten out completely. With cold temps, they were packed in tight and fun to ride. The Sayner ones were still pretty smooth but had some bumps. The carbides did scrape on some corners and on a few straight areas. Some trails are brown from snirt while others are mostly to all white. I’d rate trails from good to excellent with some fair areas . Plowed road trails range from having a decent base with little scraping to areas that are getting thin with the carbides scraping quite a bit.

Lakes are getting smoother from the drifting snow blowing into ruts or between bumps.

Just a reminder… STOP signs are put up for a reason. Whether you ride fast, slow or in-between, not acknowledging them is just plain stupid and is a good way to get in an accident or get a trail closed.
