Our final snow total from Monday night through yesterday was an inch and a half. While this does help a little, it’s not really enough to give us the boost we need. We’re still sitting in a late winter/early spring pattern where we had enough melting to make riding a challenge. There is still some decent riding away from towns. The issue is that you’ll have to ride over some bad to fair stuff to get to it. Plowed road trails are showing pavement – some a little to some almost completely bare. Town trails and certain main corridor trails were hit hard and have minimal snow with bare ground showing. We haven’t heard of any local clubs grooming.

There are some people still riding – some are happy and some wish they hadn’t. A lot depends on where you go. If you do ride, keep your expectations low. Our sleds are parked until we get more snow.
