Well…. I wish we had good news to report but that’s not the case. Trails remain closed (not enough snow to ride on yet) and still no date has been set as to when they can and will open. The latest news is that the clubs will meet next Wednesday the 19th to evaluate conditions and hopefully set a date.
The forecast this weekend looks bleak with temps in the upper 30’s and sunshine. Hopefully we won’t lose the snow we do have.
About the only decent news is that all the lakes are frozen. We had 5-6 inches of ice in front of our place 2 weeks ago and now have around 8 inches. Was hoping it would’ve made more ice but we’ll take what we get.
The bottom line is that the waiting game continues. Our sleds are ready to go…all we need is snow…
