Just a quick update since it’s been a few days. The weekend was warm but not as warm as predicted. Saturday was around 40 with sunshine early and then clouds moved in. Yesterday was only low 30’s and cloudy. Today was low 30’s with cloudy for a while, then sunny, then cloudy. Trails range from poor to some good. Trails back in the woods that don’t get a lot of traffic are probably still averaging good. With the thaw/freeze cycles we’ve had, even the good ones will be icy. Heavily traveled trails and main corridor trails will be mostly poor to fair. Plowed road and town trails will be mostly poor with some fair. We haven’t been out riding so this is based on what we’ve heard and what we can see. There is probably some decent riding out there but getting to it means going over some bad stuff.
We’re waiting to see if this current storm gives us any snow. Our advisory has been dropped so not looking good. Our sleds remain parked until we get snow…
