Snowmobile Trail Report for Saturday, February 22, 2014

I headed out for a ride hitting some St. Germain and Sugar Camp trails. All had been groomed and were smooth.  I’m giving the trails an overall very good rating. The 6 inches of snow from Thursday night was packed in tight and just what the trails needed. The areas that saw melting from the 3 day warm up were in good shape again. The rest, which were already good are now very good to excellent. I’m sure as the weekend traffic gets out today things will get beat up a bit giving you some bumps and pushed out corners. However, groomers will be back out tonight getting things nice again. About the only thing to complain about on my ride were some areas are brownish from snirt and the carbides did scrape on a couple corners. Get out and ride.
